Eleanor Voss

Eleanor designs and validates the statistical frameworks behind Drane Labs' model evaluations. She has an MS in Applied Statistics from Columbia and spent three years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York before making the jump to tech, where she says the problems are similar — large datasets, high stakes, and a lot of people who want to believe the numbers say what they want them to say.

Her focus on rigorous methodology ensures that when Drane Labs publishes a performance claim, it's backed by sound science. She's particularly interested in evaluation robustness — making sure that benchmarks actually measure what people think they measure.
